Steps
- Folder nameExactly Wraps, at the top level of the drive, not inside another folder.
- Drive formatexFAT, FAT32, ext3 or ext4. NTFS drives are not read.
- Real PNGRe-export as PNG. A renamed JPG or WebP will be ignored.
- DimensionsBetween 512 and 1024 px per side, ideally the template size.
- File size1 MB or less.
- Filename30 characters max, letters, numbers, spaces, dashes or underscores only.
- Number of filesNo more than 10 wraps per method.
- SoftwareUpdate the car. App uploads also need Tesla app 4.59.0 or later.
The wrap shows but looks wrong
The design may use a template for another model or trim. Our studio presets can be rendered for the selected model again. An uploaded or community PNG is already flattened: switching the model does not remap its panels. Rework that image on the correct template and check the preview.
The panels have black or white edges
The file lost its transparency or the design stops short of the panel edges. Extend the artwork a little past each panel outline before exporting.
FAQ
Do I need to restart the car?
Usually not. Re-plug the USB drive or reopen Paint Shop after copying new files.
